I love talking to people, especially Michiganders. I crack open a pop and chat until the cows come home.
But here’s a little secret to being an effective politician: Stop talking.
Truly. Michiganders know what Michigan needs better than anyone. I learned a long time ago that the first step to getting stuff done is always the same: listen.
That’s why I’m reaching out with a simple request: Will you take one minute to fill out my 2026 Priorities Survey? We’re collecting 1,000 responses before midnight tomorrow, and I’d be honored to hear from you directly.
Here’s why it matters:
This is shaping up to be one of the most competitive Senate races in the country. Poll after poll shows I’m neck and neck with MAGA Republican Mike Rogers, and The New York Times even recently named Michigan a key battleground in the fight for Senate control.
The stakes are high. That’s why GOP billionaire megadonors are lining up behind Rogers, trying to buy this seat so they can rubber-stamp Trump’s chaos agenda in the Senate.
So how do we fight back? By building a grassroots campaign that listens, learns, and leads – in that order.
We’ve already made so much progress:
✅ I introduced the Stop Trump’s Abuse of Power Act after Donald Trump abused his power and deployed the military against U.S. citizens.
✅ I led the charge to bring semiconductor manufacturing back to Michigan, creating good-paying jobs for our communities.
✅ I introduced the No Tariffs on Groceries Act to stop Trump’s chaotic price hikes at the checkout line.
✅ I filed articles of impeachment against RFK Jr. for putting public health at risk and lying to Congress.
I’m proud of this work. Because it all came from listening to the real concerns of real people – and then taking action to fight for them.
So as we build a winning strategy for what will be a generation-defining election in Michigan, I want to make sure this campaign reflects your priorities.
